Poultry
Management System
Introduction
VetSoft
as a software corporation
provides enterprise Intranet/Internet solutions for veterinary consisting of
integrated software to share a common database and exchange information between
different modules.
The
poultry management system
provides
to develop powerful and flexible solutions that evolve with the industry and to
overcome the gap between the various divisions of poultry production, including
rearing, laying, grow-out and all points in between.
The software can be used by integrated companies to keep close track of the
entire production cycle from grandparent stock to broilers or by individual
operations such as breeder farms, broiler farms, and hatcheries or by feed
mills to schedule feed deliveries.
New
and improved products are the result of knowing your needs. Our ongoing
relationship with you allows us to assess your needs and pass the information
to our programmers, who convert your ideas into the industry's newest
technology. We are committed to preparing you for the competitive challenges of
tomorrow.
Poultry
management system would provide two data entry modes: Web Mode and / or Windows
Mode.
In Web Mode
the user would insert the data into the central database through web pages on
the internet/intranet so the user must be online or connected to the
internet/intranet when he wants to transfer the data .and due to using web
pages in this mode there wouldn't be any client installation required and the
system would run on any operating system.
In Windows Mode
the user would enter the data through an installed program that stores the data
on the user's machine then the data can be transferred when the user get
connected to the internet/intranet so in windows mode the user wouldn't have to
be connected to the server all the time and this would
increases data entry efficiency.
The
main unit in the
Poultry management system is the pen and its daily operations and transactions
like merging, separating and transferring. The system allows the user to keep
track of the pen transaction in great detail with advantage of no old data
would be never deleted.
VetSoft
is proud to include a convenient online learning system (workshop) which is
accessible at any time. The first lessons are only demonstrative, designed to
promote user acquaintance with sample report generation.
Report
output is available in all commonly used formats such as Text, Adobe
PDF®, Rich Text Format, Hypertext Markup Language, Microsoft Excel® and Word®

The main components of the data are farm,
house, flock and daily and weekly transactions and records.
User
defined egg categories track all commercial and non commercial egg classes
produced. Egg production by case weight, mortality, feed consumption, and feed
efficiency are plotted against standards. Daily intake of nutrients is
calculated from feed formula specifications and daily consumption.
Flock Data

and Temperature schedules.
Cost Data
·
Flock/farm related direct/indirect costs: chicks, feed, medication, labor,
packaging and delivery.
Feed
Mill Module:
Keeps
feed mill accounting, ingredient and feed production inventories. Other
features include register feed composition, nutrients analysis and costs for
each feed, order entry.
·
Low inventory alerts and a complete delivery schedule from placement to kill
date which is prepared for each house.
(Integrated from organizer module)
·
Schedules take into consideration several factors, for example pen capacity,
delivery capacity, birds placed, bird mortality, expected feed consumption,
etc.
·The
schedules are dynamically adjusted each time an actual delivery is made,
mortality posted or physical feed inventory updated by any of the integrated
modules.
Organizer

This
module organizes
transactions between system integrated modules.
For
example:
·
No. Pullets/Chicks and its entry date to the farm or house.

No. Eggs and its entry date to the hatchery.
· Houses'
disinfection dates.
·
Feed orders dates.
·
Feed production and delivery dates.
·
Vaccination dates for every flock.
·
Flock depletion date.
·
Flock selling date.
Processing
Module:
This
application analyzes individual products and maximizes profits of the combined
product mix. It tracks volumes and cost of production including chick cost,
grow-out cost, livehaulcost, processing, and marketing costs. Margins are
calculated on processed and second processing products.
Product
categories include fresh, frozen, and over wrap such as whole birds,
eviscerated, cut-up, front halves, breasts, boneless breasts, leg quarters,
legs, boneless dark meat, wings, necks and backs, livers, hearts &
gizzards, and others.
Analysis
is also categorized by packaging form such as ice, CO2, CVP, rendering,
and by market type, such as bulk, retail, food service, over wrap, and others.

a flexible and extreme security system designed to be used by application
software and enterprise security managers at the enterprise level. This
application not only assures that the packets of information are secure in
transit but also provides maximum authentication.
This
application Characteristics:
·
Each module has its access roles which consists of various activities (read –
write – modify) and those access roles are controlled by the administrator.
·
Administration and user management via web interface.
Monitoring
Module:
In
